How do parents get access to the Schooly App?
Parents receive a simple activation link via email once the school has set up their profile. They download the app (iOS or Android), tap the link, and they’re in, no technical knowledge required. The school controls when access is activated.
Can parents message teachers directly through the app?
Yes. Schooly supports two-way communication between parents and teachers through the app, keeping all school-related conversations in one place rather than scattered across personal WhatsApp or email threads.
Can parents update their own contact details?
Yes. Parents can update their own information (address, phone number, emergency contacts, etc.) directly through the app. This keeps records accurate without adding work for admin staff, and supports GDPR self-service data management.
Can parents opt out of certain notifications?
Parents can manage their notification preferences within the app. Schools can also configure which types of alerts are sent and at what frequency, ensuring communication is useful rather than overwhelming.
